Eight-Channel Multiplexer Rides Modbus/Profibus

Feb. 1, 2000

Suited for industrial data acquisition and control applications, the model P190 is a fully isolated, 8-channel Modbus/Profibus-compatible analog input multiplexer with a 16-bit resolution and better than 0.05% accuracy. The DIN rail-mounted unit can be configured to accept voltage, current or resistance inputs including linearization and compensation functions for temperature measurements using RTDs and thermocouples. Input values are retrieved by means of an isolated serial RS-485 port using standard Modbus or Profibus-DP commands.
