Interconnect Reduces Wire Preparation Time

March 1, 2000

Used primarily to connect sensors or probes to programmable logic controllers, the u-clamp interconnect system provides an easy and efficient way to connect electrical wiring in industrial control systems. With its rugged design, the clamping system is well suited for use on the factory floor.
The plug allows installers to terminate wiring without having to crimp or otherwise prep the wiring. Simply inserting a wires into a special cover that temporarily grips them, the wires are then snapped onto IDC contacts, which is then connected to a controller's u-clamp receptacle unit. The plug also eliminates the need for a crimping tool. Call for pricing.
