Hall-Effect Switches Give Tactile Feedback

April 1, 2000

The HP7 series of sealed, watertight, contactless switches now includes a mechanical detent, giving the user positive, tactile feedback. These momentary pushbutton switches utilize Hall-Effect sensor technology and feature dome-shaped buttons in nine colors.
Cases and bezels are precision-machined aluminum alloy with a black or clear anodized finish. The switches are available with flush, raised or exposed dome button styles. PC-pin and solder-cup terminations are standard and assemblies having wire leads and connectors are available to specification.
