ATR Enclosure Seeks Military Duty

April 1, 2000

Offered as a rugged solution for military applications where light weight and high performance are critical, the 3/4 ATR enclosure provides a seven-slot VME64x monolithic backplane with five-row DIN connectors and J0, and up to a 300W power supply. A wire-wrap backplane is available for development and can be converted for field deployment. Follow-through cooling with more than 70 cfm of airflow is employed in the lightweight, aluminum alloy enclosure. EMI gasketing is applied to all joints and the entire unit is EMI/RFI shielded against both emitted and conducted radiation. A conduction-cooled version is also available.
