Systems Record At 800 Mb/s Rate

Offered as the first product available for cPCI and PXI buses that can record at a sustained rate of up to 800 Mb/s, the StreamStor CPCI-408 disk recorder provides random-data retrieval and a total capacity of over 300 GB. The unit can record for almost 50 minutes at 800 MB/s by writing data directly to the disk without passing through system memory. Drivers are provided for Windows 95/98/NT. A programming library is supplied as a DLL and includes controls for data recording and retrieval. Pricing for StreamStor CPCI-408 systems (includes controller, software and disk drives) begins at under $11,500.
