Aug. 1, 2000

Targeted at mid-plane and rear I/O applications, this10-row shroud is used in conjunction with the D, E and F modules of the firm's 2-mm hard metric connector line. The one-piece shroud is available in four different base thicknesses, eliminating the need for additional spacers. There is also no need for securing accessories, as the device is supplied with the firm's "red" clamping wafer. This clamp wafer makes it easy for users to install and securely affix the shroud to connectors with long terminals without damaging the pins. Repairs can be made with a simple tool.
