Coax Contacts Provide Over 25K Operations

Aug. 1, 2000

Offered as discrete components with the ability to be crimp or solder terminated to cable, the LIF coaxial contacts feature electrical repeatability of over 25,000 insertion/extraction cycles. Fully compliant to MIL-STD-202 for vibration and shock, the 50-ohm connectors are designed for RG316 cable or T405 and are specified at 1:20:1 maximum VSWR at 3 GHz and 1:50:1 at 18 GHz. The low insertion force, high life performance makes the contact system well suited for high pin count assemblies as well as for high cycle life testing for portable computer, military and commercial test equipment and wireless applications. Pricing is $15.00 per mated pair/1,000.
