RF Adapters Mate Test And Telecomm Equipment

Sept. 1, 2000

The QDS to N line of quick-disconnect rf adapters are for mating test and telecomm equipment where a quick-connect/disconnect interface is desired. The adapters feature plug and jack combinations to permit fast and easy cable installation and removal without tools or cross-threading. Developed for making external connections on equipment where type N connectors are inside, they mate securely using a spring-loaded sleeve and integral balls on the male which seat into a corresponding groove on the female and cannot vibrate loose. The adapters operate from dc to 11 GHz and are rated for 1,500 Vrms and 50 ohm impedance. Priced depends on configuration and quantity.
