Designed to test components at frequencies up to 10 kHz, the Model 885 Synthesized In-Circuit LCR/ESR handheld meter is claimed as the most accurate meter on the market. The battery-powered device offers a wide range of test frequencies to 10 kHz and is designed for both component evaluation on the production line and fundamental impedance testing from benchtop applications. Utilizing the built-in test fixture, users can easily test the lead components.
The included SMD test probe gives users a simple way to conduct SMD component testing. An optional 4-wire test clip provides a convenient connection to larger components and assemblies with the accuracy of 4-wire testing, it's claimed.
The unit comes complete with instruction manual, battery, SMD surface-mount probe and carry case and is priced at $549 in single-unit quantities.
