Said to be a data acquisition system-on-a-chip for sensor-based applications, the ADuC816 MicroConverter incorporates two high-performance, self-calibrating multi-channel 16-bit A/D converters, a D/A converter, PLL, and programmable 8051 instruction set compatible, 8-bit flash MCU.
Specified for 3V and 5V operation, the part features a 10 µA power-down mode and remote wake up. The ADuC816 is packaged in a 52-lead PQFP and operates over the extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Price is under $10 each/1,000.
