CompactPCI Enclosure Adapts To A Variety Of Situations

The 505 Series of CompactPCI enclosures features a choice of multiple plug-in peripherals and various power supply options. The 505 Series is a mid-range, rack-mount or benchtop industrial chassis offering 21 usable 6U x 160-mm front-accessible slots plus 21 6U x 80-mm rear transition slots. Constructed of 0.09" lightweight 5052-H32 aluminum, the unit is 14"H x 17"W x 12"D. It supports a variety of peripheral drives, including 6U peripheral shuttles. The 505's sub-rack is compliant with IEEE 1101.10 and 1101.11. The chassis is designed to support hot-swap and N+1 and has a 350W front-pluggable supply with an input that is either AC or DC. Supply output is 350W and is selectable for 5V with 40A, 3.3V with 40A, 12V with 9A, or -12V with 2A. The unit's backplane supports the 64-bit cPCI architecture, provides coding keys for selectable VI/O, offers telephony busing with or without H.110, and achieves the low-noise, high-speed transfer rates required of cPCI specs. The 505 Series meets FCC Class A/B, UL1950, CSA 22.2, and CE, and has a 2-year limited warranty. Units start at $2,495.
