SMT Toroids Feature Dual-Winding Construction

May 1, 2001

Said to deliver excellent shielding properties, the new CMT4545 Series of dual-winding surface-mount toroids have inductance values ranging from 0.49 to 300 µH. Resistance values are as low as 0.004 (and current ratings are up to 8.7A. Part size is 0.450" square x 0.240" high (max.). The series offers a choice between a low loss ac characteristic toroidal core or high dc saturation toroidal core design. A total of 19 inductance values are available for each core and intermediate inductance values are available upon request.
