Fiber-Optic Assemblies Rev Up High-Density Networks

May 1, 2001

Suited for voice network, high-speed datacomm, telecomm and high-density backplane connector applications, the NetConnect family of fiber-optic connector-cable assemblies includes seven styles of connectors in a selection of sizes, including SC, FC and ST series connector. The pre-assembled connector-cable family employs one-piece construction and comply with IEC, TIA and Telcordia standards. These high-performance assemblies are terminated and polished, tested, sterilized and individually packaged. They also include the MU and LC terminations that feature a subminiature, high-density design that allows an increasing number of devices to be installed on a single panel. Prices start at $35 each/10.
