Test/Reference Cables Aid Fiber Optic Testing

Sept. 1, 2001

Designed to test and verify single-mode fiber optic components, a comprehensive line of test and reference cables is available in three grades: test, reference and master levels. All assemblies are NIST traceable and are precision polished to exceed Telecordia end-face geometry standards. Insertion losses are reported as being as low as 0.01 dB and return losses as low as -60 dB (PC) and -75 dB (APC) for master-level cables. Test data is supplied with each cable.
