PC¥MIP 1394 Card Delivers 400-Mb/s Performance Level

Designed for use in digital video and audio processing systems, the P14 PC¥MIP, 1394/Firewire mezzanine card supports serial data transmissions speeds of up to 400 Mb/s. The card also supports both link layer and physical layer connections as per IEEE 1394 and is compatible with the open host controller interface (OHCI) for operating systems starting from Windows 98.The mezzanine card is also backward compatible with older and slower 100 or 200 Mb/s models. And peripheral devices connected to the P14 may not need their own power supplies as the card supports the 1394 integrated power distribution scheme. Single-unit pricing is $198.
