Companies Combine Expertise To Provide Fast, Accurate Modeling Of Thermoelectric Devices

Jan. 1, 2002

Melcor Corp., a leader in thermoelectric devices, has teamed up with Harvard Thermal, a leader in thermal modeling software, to offer a fast, easy and accurate method for thermal modeling of assemblies that incorporate thermoelectric coolers. Using TAS, Harvard ThermalÕs Windows-based thermal analysis software, engineers can now include in their system model a three-dimensional representation of a Melcor thermoelectric cooler. The software is said to accurately simulate the deviceÕs behavior over its entire operating range in both heating and cooling modes. HARVARD THERMAL, Harvard, MA. (978) 772-3800.
