VRLA Battery Designed To Tackle High-Rate Assignments

June 1, 2002

Compared to similar batteries of the same size, the PHX12-475 valve regulated lead-tin (VRLA) battery claims an 8% performance increase at the 15-minute rate. Designed for high-rate applications, the battery uses absorbent glass mat (AGM) technology to retain acid between its plates. Delivering 12V and 475 WPC rated, the VRLA battery also features recessed terminals for a lower profile and brass inserts for increased conductivity and power output. Single-unit pricing is $376 with a delivery time of 48 hr. ARO. ENERSYS INC., Reading, PA. (800) 538-3627.
