Clock Oscillators Meet Frequency, Jitter Challenges

Aug. 1, 2002

The R3390 surface mount clock oscillator family is designed to meet the frequency, jitter and stability challenges of advanced wideband networking. Specs include frequency range from 500 kHz to 165 MHz, 6 ps rms maximum jitter, and frequency stability as low as ±20 ppm. The oscillators operate from 3.3 Vdc supplies and draw less than 16 mA at 165 MHz. The application for these parts is providing high-frequency reference signals for SONET, ATM and optical networking systems. Overall R3390 dimensions are 5 mm x 7 mm x 1.9 mm. Pricing is from $2 in OEM quantities. MF ELECTRONICS CORP., New Rochelle, NY. (800) 331-1236.
