OSA Measures Power And Wavelength Across C Band

Nov. 1, 2002

Designed for integration into portable optical monitoring instruments and automated optical manufacturing equipment, the TFM2000-OSAENG optical spectrum analyzer (OSA) engine measures power and wavelength across the C band. The engine sports a 110 mm x 110 mm x 20 mm profile and operates via the SCPI command language. Measurement specs include a wavelength accuracy of ±25 ppm, an absolute power accuracy of ±0.5 dB, and a relative power accuracy of ±0.2 dB. The engine operates on voltages of ±15V and 5V and provides a power range from -70 dBm to +10 dBm. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 50°C. NP PHOTONICS INC., Tucson, AZ. (520) 799-7400.
