Three-In-One Adapter System Suits QFN And MLF Chip Packages

Nov. 1, 2002

The new 3-in-1 Adapter System has been built for the Quad Flat Non-Leaded and Micro Lead-Frame chip packages. It supports the ATMEL tiny26, tiny28, Mega 8, Mega 16 and Mega 32 8-bit AVR microcontrollers. The company's FlexProbe is an integral component of the system, providing a direct surface-mount connection to the target. By integrating the three adapters into one, the company says it has reduced the cost of ownership by 50% to 66% by eliminating the need for a standalone logic analyzer adapter, emulator adapter, and programming adapter. Pricing starts at $295. EMULATION TECHNOLOGY INC., Santa Clara, CA. (800) 232-7837
