The device is designed for measuring absolute pressures from 300 to 1200 mbar, with a 14-bit resolution at the serial digital interface. Power consumption is only 2 µA in sleep mode and less than 2 mA while operating on a supply voltage of 2.7 to 5.5 V, making it particularly suitable for battery-powered devices. Data transfer uses the I2C and SPI protocols. The T5300 employs a piezoresistive MEMS sensor chip that is stacked with a signal-processing chip.
