Two new multiplexers are optimized for ±15-V high-precision, low-noise signal switching in data-acquisition, industry process control, test and measurement, and medical systems. The 8-channel DG508B and dual 4-channel DG509B provide an extended maximum voltage rating to 44 V, with rail-to-rail analog capability, and they can be operated in either a dual- or a single-supply configuration. Current consumption is typically 10 µA at 25°C, with a guaranteed maximum of 600 µA over temperature. The use of an enhanced SG-II CMOS process holds source-off parasitic capacitance to 3 pF and provides a ?3-dB bandwidth greater than 200 MHz. Crosstalk and off-isolation is ?40 dB at 100 MHz. The DG508B and DG509B come in 16-pin SOIC and TSSOP packages with an extended temperature range of ?40°C to 125°C. The RoHS-compliant devices are halogen-free in accordance with IEC 61249-2-21. Samples are available now, with production quantities scheduled for July. Lead time is 10 weeks for larger orders. The multiplexers cost $1.15 each in quantities of 1000.
