Handles/Panels Fortify VPX Systems

Dec. 9, 2009
Handles/Panels Fortify VPX Systems
The company’s handles/panels for VPX systems meet VITA 46/48 specs and come in 1”, 0.85”, and 0.8” widths. Handles exploit the company’s two-step latching process and are also available in long versions of its IEEE and low-profile handles for higher leverage. The company uses a two-step process for its VPX panels: anodizing the panels’ fronts and alodining the back and sides. Anodizing the front provides a scratch-resistant, non-conductive material while alodining the back and sides with a clear chromate conversion makes them conductive but not scratch resistant. Also available are injector/ejector handles in IEEE, IEC, Telco, Long Telco, and Classic styles. ELMA ELECTRONIC INC., Fremont, CA. (510) 656-3400.
