Candlestick Sensor Measures Temperature And Air Velocity

Oct. 19, 2011
Flexible and robust, the MS 1000-CS-WC candlestick sensor can simultaneously measure temperature and air velocity.

Flexible and robust, the MS 1000-CS-WC candlestick sensor can simultaneously measure temperature and air velocity. With a narrow and low profile to minimize disturbance of heat flow, its flexible, plastic-sleeved stem eases installation and repositioning. Also, it has a plastic base to eliminate any potential shorting issues. The MS 1000-CS-WC is calibrated for both low (natural convection) and high velocity flows. Temperature measurements range from   -30°C to +150°C ±1°C and velocity measurements range from 0 to 50 m/s (10,000 ft/min) ±2%. The sensor’s stem is 0.5 mm in diameter and its base diameter is 9.5 mm. Three different heights are available: 9 mm, 12 mm, and 20 mm. Prices for MS 1000-CS-WC candlestick sensors start at $180.
