Two and four port PCIE Gigabit Ethernet PoE cards designed to work in industrial PC’s

Advantech’s two new PCIE Gigabit Ethernet PoE cards, the PCIE-1672PC and 1674PC, are two and four port cards designed to work in industrial PC’s such as the company’s UNO-3xxx series. With up to 15.4 W power per port, the PoE cards can power IEEE802.3af compliant devices without the need for additional power wiring. Each card has an integrated NPU enabling the industrial PCs’ CPU to perform its other tasks by offloading the network traffic management to the NPU. Main features include 10/100/1000 Mbps per port by Intel i350 controllers, IEEE Gigabit 802.3af with power isolation and IEEE 1588 PTP protocol, support for 12 VDC AT/ATX input power, built-in 2.25 KV isolation protection on LAN ports and a maximum power requirement of .6 A at 12 V from external power plug via 4-pin power connector. Suggested applications include, but are not limited to, surveillance IP (PTZ) cameras for remote monitoring, intelligent transportation systems, machine automation applications such as Wafer Inspection and production quality control. Current support is available for Windows 7, Vista, and XP operating systems.
