They support a wide range of crystals with any capacitive loading (CL) spec, which broadens the pool of usable crystals for this device. This device is accessed through an I2C serial interface. The MAX31331SHLD# and MAX31334SHLD# shield evaluation kits (EV kits) are fully assembled and tested PCBs to evaluate the MAX31331 and MAX31334 ultra-low power, low-cost, RTCs. The shields operate from a single supply (either from USB or an external power supply), and the onboard crystal provides a 32.768 kHz clock signal. The devices are accessed through an I2C serial interface provided by a MAX32625PICO board connected to a PC by a USB port. Diagrams Features Ultra-low-power time-keeping current extends battery life and backup run time Integration with power switch increases system battery lifetime in duty-cycled applications Highly flexible with a wide range of external crystals supported with no external loading required Applications Medical Wearables 0 - Immediate 2352 - Immediate 1 - Immediate MAX34427/MAX34417 SMBus Dual/Quad Range Power Accumulators Analog Devices' MAX34427/MAX34417 power accumulators are specialized current, voltage, and power monitors used to determine the power consumption of systems. MAX31329 Low Current Real-Time Clock (RTC) Analog Devices' MAX31329 RTC is a timekeeping device that provides timekeeping current in nanoamperes, thus extending battery life.
