This product consists of a protective plug and base element with an integrated status indicator for a three-wire Ex i signal circuit. A protective circuit is available exclusively with gas discharge tubes. These solutions are designed for use in two-wire Ethernet systems with cable shielding such as APL and 2-WISE, as well as in the fieldbus system (e.g., PROFIBUS PA) in accordance with the FISCO concept. The TTC-6P-3-APL can be used in safety-related circuits up to SIL 3. Ethernet-APL enables the direct connection of field devices in harsh environments such as chemical plants or refineries. Robust two-wire cabling ensures fast and reliable communication with transmission rates of up to 10 Mbps.
