Helping to reduce EMI radiation from power and interface cables of digital equipment, these high loss ferrite material cores come in a range of configurations, including toroids, multi-hole and flat ribbon cable types. Standard toroids have 2.5 to 40 mm outside diameter; split core toroids with resin clamps, 22 to 48 mm outside diameter; and encapsulated toroids, 22 to 30 mm outside diameter. For flexible flat cables that are up to 53 mm wide and have 12 to 32 lines, the RD series of cores is complemented by the KC split-cored versions taking up to 50 lines. Multi-hole ferrites are designed to provide a solution for connector or IC socket radiation.
