Ganged Pots Squeeze Into Tight Spots

AddingEmployable in multiple-device assemblies, the P9S and P9A 9-mm, ganged potentiometers reside in compact modules measuring 9.52 mm x 11.35 mm. The P9S targets industrial and military applications with a CERMET resistive element while the P9A features a conductive plastic resistive element for audio designs. An integrated center mechanical detent is optional and custom designs are available upon request. Resistance ranges for the P9A are 1 KΩ to 1 MΩ and 47Ω to 2.2 MΩ by linear law and for the P9S are 2.2 KΩ to 500 KΩ and 100Ω to 1 MΩ by non-linear law. Standard tolerance for both potentiometers is ±20% with values of ±5% and ±10% available for the P9S. The P9A features a temperature coefficient of ±1,000 ppm, and the P9S specifies ±150 ppm. Other shared features include an insulation resistance of 100 MΩ at 250 Vdc and a dielectric strength of 300 Vac for one minute. Price for either component is $1.90 each/1,000.
