Target applications include input/output filters in high-power and high-voltage power supplies as well as in bus filters, dc snubbers for inverters, and high-current power supplies. According to the company, the components are characterized by low ESR, low ESL, and high-current carrying capability, making them suitable replacements for aluminum and tantalum electrolytic capacitors.
