Significantly enhancing performance and specs, the B25836 Series MKV capacitors now include power factor correction (PFC), making them viable for use in applications operating at high ambient temperatures and under adverse conditions. Enhanced specifications include an inrush current handling up to 500 x IR, over-current capabilities up to 3 x IR depending on capacitor type including combined effects of harmonics, over-voltages, and tolerance, and an average operating life up to 3000,000 hours at temperature class -40/D. Additionally, the series now covers voltages from 400V to 800V and power levels from 5 to 30 kvar. Pricing ranges from $99 to $249 depending on type and quantity. EPCOS INC., Iselin, NJ.
