Resonant Inductors Keep Leakage Inductance Down

Feb. 25, 2011
Keeping leakage inductance as low as possible to achieve higher efficiency is the goal of the company’s resonant inductors.

Keeping leakage inductance as low as possible to achieve higher efficiency is the goal of the company’s resonant inductors. Keeping a low profile, the components can mount on top of the transformer to maximize use of the available area. Inductance values range from 1 mH to10 mH and current handling from few amps to 100A. Inductance typically varies by ±15% from -40ºC to +130ºC. In terms of footprint, a 2.5-mH/33A component measures 70 mm x 65 mm x 30 mm. PAYTON AMERICA INC., Deerfield Beach FL. (954) 428-3326.
