A set of electrolytic capacitors and assemblies has been created specifically for use in engineering projects calling for non-standard mechanical and electrical requirements. These special-purpose capacitors span a range of specifications and ratings, including vital cooling requirements. They also meet the need for shorter electrical paths, closer tolerances and expeditious assembly. One example of a custom assembly model incorporates a housing mounting screw as one terminal and a topside single screw as the other terminal. Prices and delivery of the products depend on design complexity and need for tooling.
