Thin-Film Caps Enhance Cellular Antenna Performance

June 20, 2011
The Accu-P Series thin-film capacitors now includes ultra-tight capacitance tolerance versions for antenna matching in cellular handsets.

The Accu-P Series thin-film capacitors now includes ultra-tight capacitance tolerance versions for antenna matching in cellular handsets. The latest capacitors employ high purity electrodes and a low-K dielectric to ensure low and repeatable ESR values as well as high breakdown voltage, high insulation resistance, and low losses at frequencies up to 40 GHz. The design also features tight dimensional control for uniform, stable and repeatable frequency characteristics. AVX CORP. Myrtle Beach, SC. (843) 946-9304.
