Supporting high-density 12V intermediate-bus applications, the next generation QBW025A0B series dc/dc modules provide up to 25A of output current in an industry standard quarter brick. The modules operate with an input-voltage range from 36V to 75V Vdc and deliver a regulated 12V ±5% output, operating at a power density of 220 W/in3. They employ synchronous rectification technology and unique packaging techniques to achieve efficiencies reaching 94% at full load. Outputs are isolated and filtering for both inputs and outputs minimizes external components. Standard features include remote on/off, output over-current/over-voltage/ short-circuit protection, and input under- voltage lockout. Optional features include active load sharing, base plates, auto restart after a fault shutdown, and case ground pins. Additionally, the series is compliant with RoHS EU Directive 2002/ 95/EC and compatible with Pb-free or SnPb reflow. Pricing is $57.10 each/ 1,000. TYCO ELECTRONICS POWER SYSTEMS, Dallas, TX.
