Up to 100A of output current can be had in the industry-standard-size, 4.6” x 2.4” x 0.5” IMT-200 Series of high-density dc-to-dc converters. The full-brick-size units are designed for applications such as distributed power systems, industrial applications that require regulated dc power, telecomm equipment, and custom applications. The converters are powered by the patented Flat Transformer technology, which uses a single-turn primary and multiple cores configured in a matrix. Because of the reduction in the number of windings surrounding the core and the corresponding decrease in trapped heat, the IMT-200 Series converters are said to provide reduced leakage inductance and minimal noise levels. The result is a high current density power supply that retains excellent high-frequency characteristics. The series includes thirty models offering output voltages of 2.1, 3.3, 5, 12, 15 and 24 vdc and inputs of 24, 48, 72, 110, 150 and 300 vdc.
