DC-DC Power Converters Feature 182 W Half Brick

Feb. 19, 2012
The DCHBW150 series of DC/DC power converters offers up to 182 W of output power in a standard 2.4-by-2.28-by-0.5-in. half-brick package

The DCHBW150 series of DC/DC power converters offers up to 182 W of output power in a standard 2.4-by-2.28-by-0.5-in. half-brick package.  The series consists of 3.3-V, 5-V, 12-V, 15-V, 24-V, 28-V, and 48-V DC single-output models that operate over 4:1 input voltage ranges of 9-36 V DC, 16.5-75 V DC, and 43-160 V DC.This series is well suited for use in railway systems, wireless networks, semiconductor equipment, industry control systems, and many other applications. They're also ideal forwireless networks, telecom/datacom, industry control systems, semiconductor equipment, and distributed power architectures.Standard features include high efficiency up to 91%, soft start, adjustable output voltage, remote sense, 2250 V DC I/O isolation, and positive remote on/off control. All models in the series are RoHS compliant and have UL60950-1, EN60950-1, and IEC60950-1 safety approvals. The converters have no minimum load requirements and operate over a case temperature range of -40°C to +115°C. The converters have a MTBF rating of 1,010,000 hours using Bellcore TR-NWT-000332, and 74,160 hours using MIL-HDBK-217F standards. They are also protected against short-circuit, over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature conditions. The DCHBW150 series has several different options available which include negative remote on/off, terminal blocks, case pin, sync pin, pin lengths, heatsinks, thru-hole inserts, and DIN rail clip option. The DCHBW150 series is economically priced at $89.95 in OEM quantities.
