Meeting the demands of industrial applications, the JTA family of 10W, 15W, and 20W dc/dc converters are a re-design of industry-standard modules that now employ the latest component and manufacturing technologies to cut costs. The converters maintain a mean time between failures of over one-million hours and specify an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +100°C with full load available up to +70°C. Input voltages range from 9V to 36V or 18V to 75V and either single or dual outputs range from 3.3V to 15V. The 15W and 20W converters include remote on/off and a 10% voltage trim. Shared features of all three include encapsulated copper cases, 1.5 kVdc input-to-output isolation with an isolation resistance of 1,000 M, a typical operating frequency of 300 kHz, efficiencies up to 83%, and industry-standard pin-outs. Prices range from $23 to $43 each/1,000. For further details, call Mike Laver at XP FORESIGHT, Sunnyvale, CA. (408) 524-8521.
