Glitch-free, continuous operation in critical fault-tolerant systems is provided by the True Hot Plug Power System. Using a standard line of high-reliability, 99.9% power-factor corrected switching supplies, the company can provide system power ranging from 3 to 15 kW in a 3U/19" rack and from 4 to 20 kW in a 3U/24" rack.Built-in single-wire paralleling gives excellent load division among these supplies, regardless of the number of active units. Isolation diodes prevent a failed supply from affecting the bus. In addition, the system eliminates switches and circuit breakers. Power supplies can be swapped in and out while the system is powered and the load is automatically redistributed. Call for pricing and availability.
