Debuting as an off-the-shelf 400W dc/dc converter, the MCC meets MIL-STD-1275A/B input requirements, MIL-STD-461E EMI specifications, and MIL-STD-810F for shock and vibration integrity. The component provides up to four outputs and an optional 200W, conditioned 24V rail, helping to avoid the costs and delays associated with custom alternatives. Regulated outputs range from 2V to 48V from a nominal 28V input. The converter also features input reverse-polarity protection and input/output filtering that allows it to meet MIL-STD-461E CE102, CS114, CS115, and CS116 specs. Line and load regulation are within ±1% with no minimum load requirement and typical efficiency is 75% at full load with 500 Vdc isolation from input to output, input to chassis, and output to chassis. Additionally, each output has its own control loop to eliminate any cross regulation issues. For further information, contact Duane Darrow at XP POWER, Holliston, MA. (508) 429-9883.
