The IEEE 802.3at-compliant Ag5100 series Power over Ethernet (PoE) modules target applications requiring up to 30W of power such as PTZ Cameras, WiMax access points, POS terminals, door-entry systems, and thin client terminals. Providing the two-event classification required by IEEE802.3at, the module also includes a dc/dc converter providing a nominal 12V or 24V output, which is programmable for any voltage from 11V to 29V. Additional features include 1.5 kV of input-to-output isolation and overload, short-circuit, and thermal protection.
