Designed for use with GTL transceivers for high-speed data bus and point-to-point applications in telecommunications and networking, Zipper 1200 ultra-fast recovery power supplies deliver 1.2V in a low-profile form factor that can be plugged into backplanes or remotely located. With built-in heatsink, the supplies provide stable reference voltages for termination networks of incident wave switching backplanes that are transient-free when load currents are switched on and off over their entire load current range. The rise and fall times of load currents can be virtually any value. Units have been tested with load current rise and fall times down to 1 ns at repetition rates up to 100 MHz. Peak deviation from nominal is ±15 mV.
