Guaranteeing startup at temperatures as low as -40°C while also ensuring full specification operation at temperatures as high as 85°C without using a heatsink or other cooling device, the NML Series of isolated 2W, single-output dc-to-dc converters is designed to save space and reduce component count in applications requiring isolation or conversion of dc power rails. Galvanic isolation of 1000 vdc allows the converters to be configured to provide isolated negative rails in systems where only positive rails exist, while the device's industry-standard 4-pin SIP pinout significantly simplifies upgrading of existing designs.
Other NML converter specs include an efficiency rating of around 85%, nominal load regulation of 3.7% to 7.0%, depending on device selected, and a MTTF of up to 2.9 million hours. The devices come with a 5V or 12V nominal input and 5V, 9V, 12V or 15V output. Price: $9.58 each/>2500 pieces.
