Featuring 400 W of output power in an industry-standard package, the CMP 400 family of ac-dc power supplies supports CompactPCI systems. The power supplies provide high power density in plug-in modules that include both ac and dc versions in the same package. They meet the requirements of the PICMG power-interface specification for CompactPCI systems. Such systems are on the rise in communications, industrial, military/aerospace, and other applications. The quad-output supplies can be used alone, or multiple units can be used in parallel for higher power capability to suit specific applications. All units provide single-wire current sharing and internal OR-ing diodes. A universal hot-plug I/O connector offers full hot-swap capability and N+1 redundancy. The supplies meet CE requirements, and they are TUV-, UL-, and cUL-approved. The CMP 400 power supplies cost $302 each in OEM quantities. Availability for both the ac and dc versions is from stock to a five-week lead time.
