Potted with a thermally conductive compound and resting on an aluminum baseplate, the QL series of 75-W quarter-brick dc-dc converters offers high thermal performance in still air or limited-airflow environments. Synchronous rectification results in efficiencies of more than 90%. Two 2:1 input ranges of 18 to 36 V dc and 36 to 75 V dc are offered with outputs of 1.5, 1.8, 2.5, 3.3, and 5 V dc. Pricing is under $50 each in OEM quantities.
