Operating from an input voltage range of 1.8 to 20 V, the LT3023 dual 100-mA low-dropout regulator delivers voltages down to 1.22 V. The wide input range accommodates sources from single lithium-ion cells to multiple alkaline or nickel-metal-hydride cells and higher-voltage fixed rails. With a 0.01-µF bypass capacitor, output noise drops to 20 µVRMS over a bandwidth of 10 Hz to 100 kHz. Designed for battery-powered uses, the device's 20-µA quiescent current per channel helps maximize run times. Prices start at $1.70 each for a 3- by 3-mm DFN package and $1.60 each for an MSOP-10 package, both in lots of 1000.
