An extensive set of embedded functions that provide monitoring, protection, and adjustment capabilities is built into the AIF-PFC series of power-factor-correction (PFC) converter modules. The parallelable units can deliver up to 1600 W of output power from a universal input range of 85 to 264 V ac. Operation is possible at a wide baseplate temperature range of 40°C to 100°C. The units reach 95% efficiency at an input of 230 V ac. Prices start at $250 each in lots of 100.
