The AS1923 quad-voltage microprocessor supervisory IC monitors up to four system supply voltages without the need for external components and asserts a single reset if any of the supply voltages drop below their reset thresholds. A variety of factory-trimmed voltage threshold options are available for monitoring +5.0, +3.3, +3, +2.5, +1.8, and -5V supplies with -5% and/or -10% tolerances. The chip is also available with one or two user-adjustable threshold options via an external resistor-divider network. The internally trimmed thresholds and two reset-output options minimize the need for external components, and the open-drain output can be overdriven by external voltages ranging from 0V to +5.5V for interfacing to other devices. Available in a 6-pin SOT23 package, operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C. AUSTRIAMICROSYSTEMS USA INC., Raleigh, NC. (919) 676-5292.
