Specifying accuracy in the order of 1%, the MAX6782 through MAX6790, battery monitors detect/supervise up to four voltage levels in lithium-ion cells or multi-cell alkaline/NiCd/NiMH components. The devices also provide adjustable thresholds with low-input bias currents, which support large resistors for minimizing current while maintaining threshold accuracy, and are available with fixed or adjustable hysteresis. The MAX6782/MAX6783 monitor four battery levels while the MAX6784/MAX6785 keep an eye on three levels, and the MAX6786/MAX6787/MAX6788 control two levels. The MAX6789/MAX6790 feature quad-level over-voltage detectors with complementary outputs. The MAX6782/MAX6784/MAX6786/MAX6789 come with push-pull outputs and the MAX6783/MAX6785/MAX6787/MAX6790 with open-drain outputs. The MAX6788 is available with one open-drain and one push-pull output.
