Packaged in a 2- by 4- by 1.25-in. open-frame format, the 130-W ECS130 ac-dc power supplies can be convection or forced-air cooled. When convection cooled, each unit is capable of up to 100-W output. The full 130-W output can be delivered with 10-CFM airflow across the supply. Six single-output models provide nominal output voltages ranging from +12 to +48 V dc. Input ranges from 80 to 264 V ac. On the “green” side, XP Power’s ECS130 features up to 90% efficiency and no-load power consumption of less than 0.5 W. Reduction of wasted heat helps meet the demands of international energy efficiency standards. Operating temperature ranges from −40 to +70°C, with no derating until 50°C. The supplies meet ANSI/AMMI ES60601-1 and IEC60601-1 medical equipment safety standards, and UL60950-1/IEC60950-1 standards for IT and industrial equipment. They also comply with Class B (conducted) and B (radiated) limits of EN55011/EN55022 standards for emissions.
